Events – CDir

Chartered Directors providing practical CPD for other Chartered Directors.

Using our own network to support, develop and help one another.

This project is being spearheaded by Alan Hindley of the Bucks Region of Chartered Directors.

Our first session was a webinar on Cloud Computing which can be accessed for those who wish to review it or see it for the first time click here to view (still waiting for this to be loaded for viewing).

We have three new topics to discuss which have been chosen based on your input  - for each course there is a link to the outline of the course and an short bio on the presenter.

Please review these courses and advise ASAP if you would be interested in attending any one of them.

Either “Register” interest by clicking on the Register button and state which course you are interested in or email Alan Hindley on alanatcedar@btconnect.com.  Either way we will come back to you.

The Sustainability Session will be run by Cyrille Jegu who is an international expert in the field and has a  happy knack of cutting through the hype which too often clouds the subject. In my view Sustainability and how we handle it is a clear indicator of how well we perform as Directors.

Date: 28th September 2011   at   15:30           Venue:   Cavalry & Guards Club       Cost:   £ 50

The HR Law update will be handled by Peter Jones who I have known for many years. Peter is an Independent Consultant and has a very practical approach to this subject which too often becomes a politically correct – tick box tangle.

 Date: 12th October 2011   at   15:30               Venue:   Cavalry & Guards Club       Cost:   £ 50

The Litigation Strategy session will be handled by Neil Britten C Dir who has a refreshingly practical approach to the whole question of what to do when faced with impending litigation. His approach will save you money and time when and if you are faced with the challenge of litigation.

Date: 26th October   at   15:30                            Venue:   Cavalry & Guards Club       Cost:   £ 50
